OLD DOLL BUGGY from original owner is just the one for you! It's about 36" high and 36" long and is in great condition. This was the fancy version, with movable hood, and little "glass" windows for baby doll to look out. It has a working brake and a couple of pieces of old linens that came with it. I can't ship it to you, unless you want to pay costs, but if you live in Connecticut area, I'm sure we can work something out. Wonderful early STEIFF KANGAROO is 23 1/2" tall and has her button in ear. See photo. Big brown eyes, stitched nose, floppy ears---and pocket, but no baby! My Steiff book dates this kangaroo to the early 1913 edition. Arms move, head turns. She's in great condition for her age--yarn lifting up on toes a bit. Wonderful presence about this old animal. All mohair and straw stuffed. $1200.00
21" GLASS EYED PAPIER MACHE has the sweetest face and dark, dark brown glass eyes. Her original turkey red print dress has ruffles at the bottom, a brass pin at the neck, and is topped by a white apron with an "F" trim at the waistband. She has early petticoat, pantaloons, and socks. Condition is very good -- but has a nose nip, small dent in forehead area, and some rubs in hair; very light lines in shoulderplate. Really a charming old papier mache doll. $1600 postpaid.
Original, original, original wax-over PUMPKIN HEAD DOLL is 16" tall and has "poppy" dark glass eyes and flax hair in original set. Her old red wool two piece suit is fabulous and is lined with a (linsey/woolsy?) red and black striped lining that has a matching underslip.early underslips Old ruffled and tucked petticoat and pantaloons. Gray painted boots with small heel, left boot mended. Her lower arms and legs are papier mache. her left ear has slight paint touchup. Her face has plenty of wax left, slightly bumpy and waxy, but endearing look prevails. One metal ball earring is missing. She has a "bib" with a tiny berry and vine pattern.
