They're Ready! My new doll note cards are whimsical original designs in watercolor. They follow Dolly---a peg wooden doll in her day-to-day activities, and are a cheerful way to send greetings to friends and relatives! The cards are on sturdy card stock and are 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" with matching envelopes. They are blank inside for your own message. They are packaged with a rafia tie and have 8 note cards and envelopes in each pack. The four designs, of 2 each, are Dolly's Parlor with kitty getting into a bit of trouble! And, Birthday Party ---certainly a useful card! And, Dolly's Washday and finally, Doll Shoppe . Each design features the pegged wooden Dolly, and her kitten, Dustball. Each note card is signed "B. Kennedy" and is titled and copyrighted as an original watercolor on the back. Price per pack is $8.95 postpaid.
I am also offering a series of my original watercolors in note card design. There are eight cards, each 4 1/4" by 6 1/4" in size with matching envelope. They are wrapped simply in cellophane, with two of each of four designs in each packet. They are blank inside. The four designs are Daisies Don't Tell ; Old Friends ; Snowy Farm ; and Spring! This time "Anna" looks sweet in a CREAMY OFF-WHITE DOLL DRESS OF SOFT FLORAL PRINT that has lacy trims and an added little floret at the throat. All antique bisque dolls looks nice in white and off-white dresses, so I think you'll be pleased with this dress. My doll, Anna, likes this dress---it's a PERKY OLD-FASHIONED COTTON DOLL DRESS WITH TINY BLACK PRINT AND OLD LACE. This fabric is from my stash of old fabric and is truly appropriate for the age of German bisque dolls. Ruffles on sleeves add charm, and the little bow at the neck adds just the right touch. 10"SWEET CHARACTER TODDLER is marked ABG1352/23 Made in Germany. She's got big brown sleep eyes and an impish look to her face as if she knows a little joke . . . Here's close-up. She has a great chubby toddler body with outstretched starshaped hands and sturdy legs and feet. She has a small flaw at top of torso--been there a long time. Her body is stamped Made in Germany in red. Redressed in nice quality clothing, replaced human hair brown ringlets wig. A cutie! $465 postpaid
Sweet HEUBACH CRAWLING BABY has inscribed sunburst mark and numbers 1016 (I think) on the underside. His well molded playsuit has blue trim and he has deeply molded blond hair and painted eyes and mouth. He measures 3 3/4" long from hands to feet. $300.00 postpaid.
An absolutely beautiful BISQUE HALF DOLL WITH JOINTED ARMS is completely original including her blong mohair and elaborate hat!!! Her hair is done in an upsweep and has a long ringlet on one side. The "hat" is velvet ribbon and fruit trims. Her bisque arms swing from the shoulders and are in bent position with fingers outstretched--no chips that I see. On the back of the torso, at waist is inscribed "Sp 1377 GERMANY". Her features are finely painted, She measures 2 1/2" tall. See another view here . She is priced at $350.00 postpaid.
18" CLOSED MOUTH GERMAN BISQUE has "1234" marking, suggesting the Alt Beck Gottschalk maker. She has beautiful blue threaded glass paperweight eyes, truly peaches and cream bisque, nice old clothing and shoes. Original cloth body is firm and in very good condition, bisque arms. Really lovely to look at . . . $825 postpaid.
